Next Botany welcomes submissions of original research articles, review articles, and short communications. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.

Types of Submissions

Original Research

Detailed reports of original research findings.

Review Articles

Comprehensive summaries and analyses of current research in a specific area.

Short Comm.

Brief reports of significant new findings that require rapid publication.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared using a standard word processing program and saved as a .docx file. Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines:

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point.
  • Line Spacing: Double-spaced throughout.
  • Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
  • Title Page: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Contact.
  • Abstract: Concise summary (max 250 words).
  • Keywords: 3-5 keywords.
  • Sections: Intro, Methods, Results, Discussion, Refs.
  • References: Consistent citation style (e.g., APA, Vancouver).

Ethical Considerations & Copyright

Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere. All research involving human subjects or animals must have received ethical approval.

Upon acceptance, authors will be required to grant NextBotany the exclusive right to publish the manuscript. Authors retain copyright and are free to use their work for non-commercial purposes.
